Obama Presidential Center
A new civic and community campus in Jackson Park
The planned visit introduces participants to the Obama Presidential Center’s 19.3-acre Chicago campus, digital presidential museum and community hub. Features include a life-sized Oval Office replica, public library, outdoor gardens and playgrounds.
The Home Court is a community athletic space with an NBA-regulation indoor basketball court. Outdoor community spaces include John Lewis Plaza and the Bending the Arc artwork, a sensory-friendly children’s playground, public grills, a Wetland Walk along the Jackson Park Lagoon and landscaped green spaces designed by Michelle Obama.
